Ghanaian actor and staunch National Democratic Congress (NDC) member Seth Kwame Dzokoto has reportedly died.
Reports gathered indicate that Dzokoto collapsed while participating in a radio discussion on Owass Radio in Tarkwa.
He was rushed to a hospital in Tarkwa for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Known for his political activism and for TV shows like Effiewura and Edziban TV, Dzokoto was recently in the news after rumors went rife that he had passed on.
He later dismissed the death rumours, confirming that he was alive but dealing with some health challenges.
Speaking on B.E. TV, the Efiewura star said his health had been a concern in recent times but stressed that he was recovering. He urged the public to disregard reports claiming he had died.
“I’m not dead,” Kwame Dzokoto said, explaining that he has been dealing with health conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes.
At the time, the actor said he had undergone surgery abroad with support from Ibrahim Mahama.
According to him, he is feeling better after the surgery and believes some of his current health challenges are part of the ageing process.
