Member of Parliament for Saboba Constituency and Minister for Transport, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has congratulated newly elected constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) following the successful conduct of the party’s constituency elections.
In a congratulatory message, Mr. Nikpe said the victory of the newly elected executives reflected the confidence delegates had reposed in them, urging them to lead with humility, integrity and dedication.
“Your election is a testament to the confidence and trust reposed in you by the delegates. I encourage you to embrace this responsibility with humility, dedication, integrity, and a strong commitment to the ideals of our great party,” he stated.
He also commended unsuccessful contestants for their courage and willingness to serve, stressing that their contributions remained important to the party’s growth.
“An electoral outcome does not diminish your worth or the valuable contributions you have made to the NDC. You remain important members of our party, and I urge you to continue offering your experience, ideas, and support to advance our collective interests,” Mr. Nikpe said.
The Saboba MP further expressed appreciation to delegates who participated in the elections, acknowledging their sacrifices and commitment to strengthening the party in the constituency.
He called on party members, supporters and sympathisers to embrace peace, unity and reconciliation following the internal electoral contest.
“Our strength lies not in our individual ambitions, but in our collective determination to build a stronger and more cohesive party,” he emphasised.
Mr. Nikpe also urged the newly elected executives to reach out to their opponents and supporters to foster unity and ensure that all members felt included in the party’s activities.
“Leadership must bring people together, not create divisions. Let us build bridges, restore confidence where necessary, and ensure that every member feels valued and included in our shared mission,” he added.
He said the end of the elections should mark the beginning of renewed efforts to strengthen party structures, deepen grassroots engagement and promote the development of the Saboba Constituency.
“The elections are over, but our collective responsibility continues. Let us move forward with one purpose, one commitment, and one shared vision for the progress of the NDC and the development of Saboba Constituency,” Mr. Nikpe stated.
He congratulated the winners, commended all delegates and paid tribute to every contestant, calling for a united front to advance the party’s collective interests.
