An angry woman caused drama on live television after allegedly slapping another woman she accused of being pregnant for her husband.

The incident occurred during an episode of Oyerepa Afutuo, where the two women were engaged in a heated exchange over their alleged relationship with the same man.

A snippet of the programme, sighted by GhanaWeb, showed the women trading words before the aggrieved woman, who accused her rival of being pregnant for her husband, suddenly slapped her across the face.

The host of the programme immediately called for the police to be invited to arrest the woman over the alleged physical assault.

The host also directed that the woman alleged to be pregnant be moved away from the angry wife to prevent further confrontation.

However, the alleged pregnant woman appeared to hit back verbally, questioning whether her accuser was legally married to the man at the centre of the dispute.

The incident occurred on the programme, which often features relationship and marital disputes involving members of the public.
